Oklahoma Property Tax Relief for Seniors 2026
Every statewide property tax break Oklahoma offers older homeowners that we could confirm on an official page: the type of relief, the age and income limits, the amount, how to apply and the deadline.
Oklahoma homeowners aged 65 and older can freeze the homestead's taxable value (Senior Valuation Limitation) if gross household income is at or below the HUD median income for their county. A household with income of $30,000 or less can also claim an Additional Homestead Exemption of $1,000 of assessed value, on top of the standard $1,000 homestead exemption. Homeowners 65+ or totally disabled with household income of $12,000 or less can get a circuit-breaker credit or refund of up to $200 (Form 538-H). Oklahoma has no statewide senior property tax deferral program. (sources)
