QuantCalc does not require an account, and we do not collect names or other personally identifiable information from calculator users. We only receive an email address if you give us one — to save a plan, to have a report sent to you, or to join our list — and we keep it, with the address it was submitted from, to deliver what you asked for and (only if you opted in) to send occasional emails. Ask us to delete it at any time. The financial inputs you enter (ages, balances, contributions, allocations, life events) are sent to our backend solely to run the requested simulation and are not associated with any identifier we retain. The numeric inputs are processed in memory to compute the result and are not written to a persistent database.
Simulations execute on our backend server (AWS Lambda). The page you are using sends your numeric inputs over HTTPS, the server runs the Monte Carlo simulation, and the result is returned to your browser. We do not retain the inputs after the simulation completes, with two exceptions: if a request fails, a copy of it (the inputs, the request headers with any licence key removed, and the IP address it came from) is kept for up to two days so we can diagnose the failure; and if you choose to save a plan, its inputs are stored so the link we give you can reopen it. Server logs, which record that a request happened but not its inputs, are kept for five days. Settings and saved scenarios that you choose to keep locally are stored in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device.
License key purchases are processed through Creem (creem.io), a Merchant of Record that handles payments, taxes, and compliance. QuantCalc does not handle or store payment card information. Please refer to Creem's privacy policy for their data practices.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization enabled and ad-personalization defaulted off. GA4 sets first-party cookies in your browser to measure aggregate page views and basic usage patterns; it is not used for advertising. We do not run any third-party advertising or remarketing trackers. You can disable analytics entirely via the cookie consent banner or your browser's tracking-protection settings.
Firm names, logos, and client names entered in the Professional tier settings are stored in your browser's local storage only. This data is not transmitted to QuantCalc or any server.
QuantCalc can be connected to an AI assistant (such as Claude) through our MCP server at mcp.quantcalc.app. When the assistant calls one of its tools, we receive only that tool call’s inputs — the figures and settings it passes, such as ages, account balances, spending, allocation, filing status and state — never your conversation with the assistant. Those inputs are handled exactly as described in section 2. To give each installation its own usage allowance we assign a random session identifier; it identifies the connection, not you, and is used only to count runs, with counters that reset within a day. If you configure a QuantCalc licence key, it travels as a connection header, is used only to check your tier, and is removed before any request is logged. The assistant itself is operated by its own provider under its own privacy policy. Setup and limits: quantcalc.app/advisors/mcp.
