How the Pro trial works
- You email [email protected] with your domain and which widgets you want.
- Within one business day, we send you an updated iframe URL with your unique Pro key. The "Powered by QuantCalc" footer is hidden; an accent color matches your site.
- 14 days to try it. No card on file. If it doesn't pull its weight for your readers, just don't continue — your Free iframe keeps working.
- If it works, $49/mo via Creem or annual $490/yr. Cancel any time.
We onboard each Pro publisher manually so we can sanity-check your CSS, set the accent color correctly, and confirm the embeds render properly on your specific theme. Self-service signup arrives once we have ~20 publishers on Pro.

What you actually get inside the iframe
The widget runs in your reader's browser. They enter their inputs (age, savings, etc), click Run, see their Monte Carlo success rate plus 10th/median/90th percentile terminal balances, charted. The "Run 10,000 sims · free →" footer link is what monetizes Free — interested readers click through to quantcalc.app and a small fraction upgrade to PRO at $99 lifetime. On Pro, that footer is gone; readers stay in your environment.

FAQ
Why $49/mo and not free forever?
Free covers everything most finance blogs actually need — we'd rather have the calculator on 100 blogs with attribution than on 5 with custom branding. Pro exists for publishers whose readers shouldn't bounce out of the post via the footer link, and who care enough about that to pay for it. The price ($49/mo per domain) is set below typical "calculator widget" SaaS pricing ($60–150/mo) so it's an easy yes if the widget pulls its weight, and an easy no if it doesn't.
Can I customize the look beyond accent color?
v1 ships with accent color via querystring. If you need deeper theming (font family, button radius, density), email us — we'll do hand-customization for early Pro publishers as part of onboarding. Once we have a clear pattern, it becomes a self-service option.
What happens to my embed if I cancel Pro?
Your iframe stays live — it just reverts to the Free version (attribution footer returns, accent color resets to default). No broken embeds, no 404s. Your blog post stays intact.
Do you offer affiliate revenue share instead of subscription?
Not yet. The number of conversions we'd be sharing is too small to be meaningful at our current scale, and the accounting overhead doesn't make sense at our team size (one person). If you're a publisher with 50K+ monthly visitors on retirement-planning content, email us — we'll consider a custom deal.
I have a non-standard request (white-label PDF export, multi-site license, etc).
Email [email protected]. We work with you for early-stage publishers — the per-domain Pro tier is the default, but we'd rather do a one-off than turn you away if your need is unusual.
Are my readers' inputs sent to QuantCalc?
Their numeric inputs (age, balance, spending) are sent to our backend so the simulation can run — same as any calculator on any site. No name, email, IP-tied identifier, or other PII is collected. No tracking cookies set inside the iframe. Same as our main app's privacy policy.
