For 2026 a single filer who is 65 or older gets a $16,100 standard deduction plus a $2,050 age-65 addition, and may add the $6,000 senior deduction (available 2025–2028, phasing out above $75,000 income) — up to $24,150 stacked. A married-filing-jointly couple both 65+ can stack up to $47,500.
