Refund Policy

1. All sales final

QuantCalc PRO and QuantCalc Advisor are digital licenses delivered automatically by email and on-screen at checkout. Because the product is digital and access begins at checkout, by completing your purchase you acknowledge that performance of the contract has begun and you expressly waive your statutory right of withdrawal under:

• European Union Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m);
• The United Kingdom Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, regulation 37(1)(a); and
• Equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions that permit waiver of cooling-off rights for digital content delivered immediately with prior consumer consent.

2. Verified-defect exception

Notwithstanding Section 1, a refund will be issued where:

• The law of your jurisdiction requires it regardless of any waiver (e.g. a non-waivable statutory consumer protection right);
• A verified product defect prevents activation of your license and the QuantCalc support team cannot resolve the defect within seven (7) days of a reproducible report submitted to [email protected]; or
• A duplicate or fraudulent charge can be evidenced from our payment processor's records.

"Verified product defect" means a reproducible, documented technical failure attributable to QuantCalc. It does not cover buyer's remorse or change of mind, use of a browser or operating system that we document as not supported (please confirm compatibility against the free tier before purchase), or disagreement with our published methodology — calculator outputs are estimates derived from publicly available research, not guarantees.

Tier-swap carve-out: If you purchased the wrong tier (Personal PRO when you needed Advisor PRO, or vice versa) within fourteen (14) days, email [email protected]. We will credit the original purchase and apply it toward the correct tier at no additional administrative cost beyond any price difference.

3. How to report an activation defect

Email [email protected] with subject line "Activation defect" within fourteen (14) days of purchase and include:

• Your order ID (from the confirmation email);
• The email address used at checkout;
• The exact error you encountered (screenshot strongly preferred);
• Your browser, operating system, and the date/time of the failure.

We will attempt to resolve the issue within seven (7) days. If the defect cannot be resolved, a full refund will be processed within five (5) business days to the original payment method.

4. Chargebacks

Initiating a payment-card chargeback or bank dispute without first contacting [email protected] and allowing fourteen (14) days for a documented resolution attempt is a material breach of these Terms. In the event of such a chargeback, QuantCalc reserves the right to:

• Revoke any license issued in connection with the charged-back transaction;
• Permanently suspend access to QuantCalc services for the associated email address and license key; and
• Recover the chargeback amount, payment processor penalties, and reasonable enforcement costs.

5. License revocation on refund

When a refund is processed under Section 2, the associated license key is revoked and PRO features become unavailable. You may continue to use the FREE tier without interruption.

6. Payment processor

Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io) as the merchant of record. Creem may, in limited circumstances, issue a refund independent of QuantCalc's policy where required by law, mandated by card networks, or in cases of suspected fraud. Those circumstances are governed by Creem's Terms of Service.
